Dubai: vivo has introduced its latest smartphone, the vivo V80, offering enhanced ZEISS co-engineered imaging, a sophisticated design, and a performance that matches contemporary lifestyles. This device is set for release in the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. The vivo V80 incorporates a versatile imaging system, featuring four cameras crafted in collaboration with ZEISS, enabling users to capture various perspectives and convey their unique vision.
The centerpiece is a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilization and autofocus, complemented by a 50MP Super Telephoto camera for capturing distant objects, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera for expansive landscapes, and a 50MP front-facing camera for selfies and group photos. Additional creative modes include Night, Portrait, Film Camera, Astro, Pro, Panorama, Slow Motion, Time-lapse, and Underwater Photography.
The phone records video in 4K and 1080p resolutions, features a rear flash, and employs dual-color-temperature fill light for optimal lighting. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor on a 4nm chip, the vivo V80 comes in 256GB or 512GB storage options and 8GB of RAM, expandable to up to 16GB with Extended RAM. It boasts a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2750 × 1260 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, providing smooth visuals, vivid details, and vibrant colors.
The design is sleek with a glass back, a slim profile of 7.69mm, and a weight of 203g, emphasizing modern aesthetics without sacrificing practicality. The vivo V80 boasts an IP68 and IP69 rating for dust and water resistance, although resistance may diminish with prolonged use. The device supports 5G, dual SIM, NFC, and eSIM connectivity, alongside practical features for enhanced convenience.
Operating on OriginOS 7, based on Android 17, the vivo V80 redefines smartphones as more than mere tools for documenting moments but as devices enabling personalized storytelling and global perspective sharing.
