Nhood nombra a Pedro Rizo director de Mercado de Capitales

Nhood has appointed Pedro Rizo as the head of its Capital Markets area in Iberia, aiming to bolster its real estate investment advisory business. The Spanish-Portuguese company, linked to the Mulliez family association (owner of brands such as Auchan), has entrusted Pedro Rizo with the role to strengthen its investment advisory activity across Spain and Portugal.

As part of his new position, Pedro Rizo will join the team led by Federico Valentini, who oversees capital markets intermediation and M&A advisory globally, and will support investors and property owners in their acquisition, divestment, and value creation strategies, according to Nhood. Pedro Rizo launched his professional journey in 2007 in commercial roles, later shifting focus to the real estate sector.

Throughout his career, he has held various positions at firms like Catella Property Spain and CBRE, and served as national director of private assets at BNP Paribas Real Estate in the Capital Markets area, later expanding his responsibilities to include business development and strategic opportunity generation. Prior to taking the helm of Capital Markets for Iberia, Pedro Rizo spent the past year at Nhood in the Development Business area, contributing to the company's growth in Spain and Portugal while strengthening ties with clients, investors, and strategic partners, the company notes.
