Argentina's President Javier Milei urged Spanish voters to remove the socialists (PSOE) from power during his visit to Madrid, calling Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez a 'disgraceful dictator' and championing his allies on the Spanish right. Milei, who has visited Spain seven times since taking office in December 2023, defended his relationships with Spanish politicians Isabel Díaz Ayuso and Santiago Abascal, describing them as 'sound and positive' ideas for pulling Spain out of decline.
He ruled out meeting Sánchez, whom he called a 'criminal', and instead called on Spanish advocates of freedom such as PP leader Alberto Núñez Feijóo. Abascal defended his absence from the event, citing campaign commitments elsewhere, but supported Milei's criticism of Sánchez. The visit aimed to support right-wing parties ahead of the Spanish general election on November 29th.
