Detroit Lions tight end Sam LaPorta expressed disappointment over the team's failure to offer him a contract extension. The player, who is set to enter free agency at the end of the season, believes his contributions to the Lions deserve more recognition. LaPorta told Pardon My Take that the physical risks he takes every week, including breaking his back last year, do not align with the lack of support he has received from the organization.
Despite his frustration, LaPorta assured that he will continue to perform well for the team, even hinting that if no deal is reached, he will be considering opportunities elsewhere.
