Jensen Huang is urging Europe's industries to become AI companies at GTC Berlin

At his company’s GTC conference in Berlin, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang urged Europe to rapidly adopt artificial intelligence across all industries, including automotive, financial services, and healthcare. Huang's tour of Europe is aimed at promoting business opportunities with NVIDIA, whose chips have been instrumental in the AI boom.

He unveiled new data center equipment, software, models, and partnerships with leading European companies. Huang emphasized that all end markets and industries must become AI-driven for Europe to benefit from and create an AI ecosystem and economy. Huang highlighted the DSX Pod, a mini data center product that can be quickly deployed and linked to other units, cutting installation time from six months to 14 days.

The new DSX AI data center blueprint and the Vera Rubin Nscale processor are being adopted by European customers. Huang also discussed supply chain constraints hindering NVIDIA's growth and partnerships to address these issues, including increased substrate and chip packaging availability. The company reported a 30% revenue increase in physical AI, which includes robots, to about US$11 billion in the first half of the year.

NVIDIA is working with Siemens AG to deploy AI-based advanced radiation therapy machinery, monitoring patient breathing and movements to adjust dosage dynamically. Nvidia is developing software to ensure AI agents remain within prescribed limits and is collaborating with Agile Robots SE to create an open robotics platform for researchers.

In the automotive sector, Volvo AB, Volkswagen AG, and Bolt Technology OU are utilizing NVIDIA's chips for self-driving cars, commercial vehicles, and robotaxis, respectively.
