CD Projekt has announced the features of the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 2.5 update, which will coincide with the debut of Netflix's Edgerunners Season 2. The update brings a new side quest titled Clampdown, taking place before the events of Edgerunners 2. Players can obtain a new 5-piece gear set inspired by the character King from Season 2.
A new radio station, HKGN 102.0 FM, will feature tracks from the Edgerunners series. Other updates include additional side quests, such as Welcome to Paradise!, where players explore Night City guided by Richard Night, the founder of the city. The update also introduces a new side quest as an extension of Fool on the Hill, adding new tarot cards.
Cyberware customization is enhanced with the ability to modify hand cyberware at 5 Glamdocs, each offering unique cyberware skins. A significant addition is the Double Trouble perk in the Cool tree, enabling dual-wielding of Pistols and Revolvers. Cross-platform mod support is now available on PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, and Xbox Series X and S, along with various quality-of-life improvements, such as saves grouped by separate playthroughs and an FOV slider on consoles.
