Former Manchester United striker Dwight Yorke has once again expressed his interest in taking on the role of head coach for Ghana's national football team, the Black Stars. Yorke, who previously managed the Black Stars between 2003 and 2006, highlighted Ghana's rich footballing history and the caliber of players available as reasons for his continued interest.
The Trinidad and Tobago legend was among several names linked to the vacant position following Carlos Queiroz's departure after Ghana's poor performance in the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers. Yorke stated that while Ghana possesses the necessary talent, they need to establish a strong team culture and ensure player commitment in order to succeed.
