Demon Slayer fans are buzzing with anticipation as a potential release date for the highly anticipated sequel, Infinity Castle 2, has been rumored. The untitled Crunchyroll/Sony Pictures film is set to hit theaters on September 15, 2027. While Sony Pictures and Crunchyroll hold the global distribution and streaming rights for the franchise, Aniplex, a 100%-owned subsidiary of Sony, is also part of the production committee.

This could indicate that the film in question might not be Infinity Castle 2. However, the possibility of One Piece Film: God Valley taking the spotlight on the same date can't be ruled out, as it's also scheduled for a summer 2027 release. Yet, One Piece movies are produced by Toei Animation, not Aniplex, and the latter is absent from the listing.
