Brown and Bourgeois power Middle Tennessee past Florida International 26-23

Middle Tennessee edged Florida International 26-23 in a spirited matchup on Tuesday night. Terrence Brown led the way for the Blue Raiders, rushing for 158 yards and a touchdown. Dominic Bourgeois showcased his kicking prowess, making four field goals to give Middle Tennessee a 13-8 halftime lead. Brown extended the advantage to 23-16 after a decisive 54-yard touchdown run with 2:06 left in the third quarter.

Despite Florida International's valiant efforts, including a touchdown pass from JJ Kohl to Kevin Schaeffer and a long touchdown reception from Sterling Joseph, Middle Tennessee held on for the win. Roman Gagliano contributed significantly with 200 passing yards and a touchdown, as well as 41 rushing yards for the Blue Raiders. The Blue Raiders will host Kennesaw State on October 28, while Florida International travels to Liberty on October 31.
