Ben Folds Five are reuniting for a tour after a 14-year gap. The piano-rock band last performed together in 2013, but recently got together for a hometown show at Cat s Cradle in North Carolina in 2023. The reunion seems to be prompted by the release of a deluxe reissue of their 1995 debut album. In April, lead singer Ben Folds, bassist Robert Sledge, and drummer Darren Jessee will play nine shows across the American South as the first leg of what is expected to be an extended tour. Tickets for the first leg go on sale on October 23.
