Shrek 2 Remastered Reveal Trailer Parodies GTA 6, Sets November Release Date
Shrek 2 Remastered is real, and its release date is less than a month away.
Shrek 2 Remastered is set to release on Xbox Series X/S on November 10, 2026. Aspyr Media, the developer behind the remastered version, unveiled a reveal trailer showcasing the game's improved graphics, new features, and familiar characters from the DreamWorks fairytale sequel. The trailer humorously references Rockstar Games' highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6, which is slated for release just nine days later on November 19, 2026.
Despite the close release dates, Shrek 2 Remastered is sticking to its intended November 10 launch date. The trailer playfully recreates the Grand Theft Auto box art and pays homage to the game's Vice City setting. Shrek 2 Remastered is a co-op video game that allows players to relive the swampy memories of the original Xbox era.
Players can control Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, Gingy, and other classic characters as they embark on thrilling, squad-based action-adventure missions. Pre-orders for Shrek 2 Remastered are now available.
