According to a report by Sensor Tower, Meta's Muse app has achieved a significant milestone, reaching 10 million downloads in the US within 40 days of its launch. This accomplishment marks Meta's Muse as the 12th app ever to hit the 10 million download mark in such a short timeframe, as Sensor Tower has been tracking app launches since October 2015.
While Muse has since dropped from the top spot, it still outperforms its AI competitors in user retention. The app maintains an impressive 30% retention rate after 7 days and 23% retention after 14 days, compared to the 19% and 16% retention rates, respectively, for AI competitors ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok. Despite recent privacy concerns, Muse continues to attract users and is currently outpacing its rivals in user retention.
