Save $50 Off a 512GB Nintendo Switch 2 Memory Card That We've Personally Tested and Vetted
The Samsung P9 MicroSD Express card will triple your total Switch 2 storage.
Seeking an affordable yet dependable memory card for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2? Look no further than Amazon's current deal on the Samsung P9 512GB Micro SDXC Express Card, reduced to $99.99 after a $50 discount with free shipping. While this might not be the absolute lowest price point, rest assured this is the best-rated option currently available.
The Nintendo Switch 2 comes equipped with only 256GB of onboard storage, which can quickly become depleted. Unlike your existing microSD cards from the previous Switch model, the new Express card format is necessary for compatibility. Amazon's Samsung P9 model offers lightning-fast transfer speeds of up to 800MB/s, a significant upgrade from its predecessor.
With a plethora of demanding games now being released for the Switch 2, ample storage space is crucial. Games such as Final Fantasy 14 demand about 117GB, consuming half of the device's internal capacity. Other storage-intensive titles include Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade (90GB), Split Fiction (70GB), Cyberpunk 2077 (60GB), and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment (44GB). The highly anticipated The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is projected to consume roughly 27GB.
Given these requirements, it's entirely plausible to download multiple games and exhaust the Switch 2's storage.
