Ranking: Unterschätzt, aber dynamisch: Zehn Städte und Regionen, die derzeit gute Jobchancen bieten

German labor market is under strain, with over half of the country's citizens believing that finding a job is more challenging now than it was a year ago, according to a LinkedIn job portal survey. Due to this, many are now considering regions that were previously not on their list of preferred places to live, but are currently offering new opportunities.

While cities like Hamburg, Munich, and Frankfurt have traditionally attracted many job seekers, there are also areas outside of these metropolises that boast above-average career prospects, as revealed by a further analysis of LinkedIn data.

LinkedIn's "Cities on the Rise" report highlights ten cities and regions in Germany where there are currently particularly many opportunities for attractive jobs. The data foundation for this report includes platform statistics on new hires, the emergence of new jobs, and the influx of skilled workers across Germany. However, large cities such as Munich and Berlin with more than one million LinkedIn members were excluded from the study to focus on mid-sized and smaller urban centers. In these ten cities or regions, there are currently favorable career opportunities.
