A committee that investigated the August 2026 disturbances at Obuasi Senior High Technical School has found that none of the students or teachers who appeared before it witnessed the headmaster burying a baby on the school compound.
An investigative report into disturbances at Obuasi Senior High Technical School in August 2026 has concluded that none of the witnesses testified to seeing the headmaster bury a foetus on school grounds. The committee also debunked claims that the headmaster's vehicle was present at the burial site. According to the report, the headmaster was later informed about the discovery around 11.30 p.m. after the exhumation of the remains at 10.30 p.m. The committee's findings are separate from a separate investigation into allegations of sexual abuse against the headmaster.
