Lucknow murder: Shiva Sharma's mother welcomes Shraddha Dubey's arrest, claims 'videos of harassment' exist
The arrests coincided with Vijayadashami, she said, expressing confidence that the case would proceed according to the due process of law.
Influencer and model Shraddha Dubey has been arrested in Nagpur in connection with the suspected murder of her businessman boyfriend Shiva Sharma in Lucknow. Dubey, along with her sister Rashmi Dubey and their driver Danish, were wanted for the death of Sharma, a businessman who owned several restaurants and fell from a fourth-floor building where Dubey lived.
Allegations of murder and blackmail have been made by Sharma's family, which Dubey has strongly denied. Police believe Dubey and her associates had been constantly changing locations to evade arrest, travelling from Lucknow to Nepal and then to Nagpur. She was arrested after a Rs 50,000 reward was offered for information leading to her capture.
Dubey has maintained her innocence on social media, claiming Sharma fell from the fourth floor by suicide and providing a video of him doing so. Sharma's mother has filed a complaint accusing Dubey and others of involvement in the murder.
