Kim Kardashian Dressing Up as Daughter North West Is an Early Contender for Best Halloween Costume
Like mother, like daughter.
The Kardashian family embraces Halloween with great enthusiasm. Kim Kardashian has showcased numerous memorable costumes over the years and has already begun preparing for 2026's spooky season by dressing up as her eldest daughter, North West, whom she shares with ex-husband Ye (formerly Kanye West). In a recent Instagram post on October 20, Kim flawlessly replicated her daughter's distinctive emo style, which has become synonymous with North's artistic journey as she follows in her father's musical footsteps.
Kim donned a N0rth4evr shirt, the title of North's 2026 EP, paired with a turquoise wig, face and hand piercings, icy chain, spiked metal bracelets, and metallic nail art, capturing the essence of her daughter's aesthetic. She replicated North's shy poses with equal precision. The 45-year-old received an outpouring of praise from fans, friends, and family on her social media platforms, who commended her for flawlessly capturing the look.
Kim's mom, Kris Jenner, playfully referred to them as "Twins!!!!" in her comments. Kim also shared the costume on TikTok, accompanied by clips of her daughter's music, along with XXXTENTACION's Billboard Hot 100 top 15 hit "Moonlight." Fans on the platform praised Kim for being a supportive mother to North, with one commenting, "Parental support is the greatest thing ever OMG."
Kim and North have previously collaborated on Halloween costumes, donning as Cher and Dionne from Clueless in 2023. In 2019, during Ye's marriage to Kim, the family hilariously turned into The Flintstones. Kim has also dazzled audiences with elaborate costumes for Halloween in the past, such as Pamela Anderson, Madonna, Cher, and Selena, and she even wore the role of North as Princess Jasmine in 2016.
As North released her N0rth4evr EP in May and was named to Billboard's 2026 list of 21 Under 21, fans eagerly await Kim Kardashian's potential return with one of her mother's iconic costumes from previous years.
