‘I met her just 2 months ago’ – Obinim breaks silence on Ohemaa Dynamite, theft case

Bishop Daniel Obinim has commented on the scandal involving TikTok star Ohemaa Dynamite, whom he is allegedly involved with. Reports claim that Obinim dated her since 2024, but their relationship ended after she allegedly stole GHS 1.5m from his safe with the help of accomplices. Obinim revealed that he only met Dynamite two months ago, refuting claims that their relationship lasted nearly two years.

He said that his church congregation could vouch for his account and that he introduced her to the church. Obinim met Dynamite after seeing reports of her involvement in a controversy with her godfather, Prophet Ogyaba. He was drawn to her natural beauty and reached out to her, hoping she would join his church. He also addressed an online video showing Dynamite in his bedroom, crediting his wife Florence for recording and sharing it to back her allegations of his infidelity.

Regarding the theft, Obinim firmly stated that Dynamite is guilty, but the reports about the theft have been exaggerated. He clarified that she did not steal any idols from him and emphasized that his ministry is focused on Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Obinim also denied collapsing after the alleged break-in, insisting that he has never fainted and has not been hospitalized due to the incident.

To clear his name, he plans to release audios and videos of his interactions with Ohemaa Dynamite in the near future.
