How to apply for Qatar Education Excellence Award: Step-by-step guide

Doha, Qatar - The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) has released a detailed video guide outlining the process for applying to the Qatar Education Excellence Award through its online platform. The award, which runs from October 1 to 31, 2026, recognizes outstanding achievements in education, science, and research, with nine categories available for nomination.

Applicants are advised to carefully review the eligibility criteria and prepare the necessary documents before submission. The application process involves several key steps, starting with visiting the official website and clicking the 'Apply Now' button. New users must create an account, providing personal information, while existing users can log in directly.

Once logged in, candidates select their preferred nomination category, then complete the application form by filling in required fields and uploading supporting evidence.

Applicants are permitted to save their progress at any point during the process by selecting 'Save and Continue', allowing them to return and finish later. A thorough review of the application is recommended before final submission, as each application can only be submitted once. The online portal will remain open until October 31, 2026, with results announced on February 4, 2027, and the awards ceremony on April 18, 2027.

For assistance, the award's website provides a Help Center with FAQs, evaluation criteria, and additional inquiry channels. Virtual introductory sessions were held in June to explain nomination requirements, and a follow-up session in September focused on the electronic application system. The 2026 edition of the Qatar Education Excellence Award received 371 applications, a 34% increase from the previous year, and honored 108 winners, including 38 platinum and 70 gold medalists.
