Pre-sale to open this Friday 23 October, with general sale to follow on 30 October
The Tour de France 2027 team presentation and opening ceremony in Edinburgh will be a paid event with tickets costing from £27, according to race organisers. Around 9,000 tickets are expected to be available as the event will be held outside Edinburgh Castle on the esplanade on 30 June at 18:30. The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo will produce the show, which will follow the introduction of the 23 teams and 184 riders.
Priority pre-sale begins for subscribers to the Grand Départ GB newsletter on 23 October, followed by pre-sale for British Cycling, Scottish Cycling, and Beicio Cymru members on 24 October. The Tattoo's pre-sale starts on 26 October, with any remaining tickets going on general sale on 30 October. Fans without tickets can still view the riders approaching Edinburgh Castle on the Royal Mile but will not be able to attend the presentation.
