Cesc Fabregas responds to Man United links amid mounting pressure on Michael Carrick

Cesc Fabregas has declined to comment on potential links to Manchester United, stating that such a response would be disrespectful to current manager Michael Carrick. Como, led by Fabregas, has experienced rapid progress since his arrival, returning to Serie A and securing their first-ever Champions League qualification last season.

Despite being frequently linked to a future managerial role in the Premier League, Fabregas dismissed such suggestions, emphasizing respect for Carrick, who has been instrumental in Como's recent success. The Italian manager expressed admiration for Manchester United, acknowledging their historical prestige and the high level of their squad.

For the upcoming Champions League match against Manchester United at Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia, Fabregas stressed that the fixture represents a significant occasion for his team, the city of Como, and its fans. Though heavy rain is expected, the manager emphasized that this is only the beginning of Como's development, which has evolved dramatically since his arrival four years ago.
