Carmelo Anthony gets honest about how a certain Knicks moment stands out for him
A specific moment in the Knicks' 2026 championship run will always stick with Carmelo Anthony.
After 52 years of futility, the New York Knicks finally claimed their second championship in 2026 after a hard-fought series against the San Antonio Spurs. The victory was a collective effort, led by star players like Jalen Brunson, but one moment in particular stood out to Carmelo Anthony - OG Anunoby's game-winning putback in Game 4 of the Finals.
Down by 29 points, the Knicks fought their way back, and Anunoby's tip-in with just 1.2 seconds left was a defining moment in NBA history. For Anthony, this play not only clinched the title for the Knicks but also became the greatest sports moment he had ever witnessed.
