Leonardo Balerdi expresses confidence playing any defensive position for Roma as they prepare for their UEFA Champions League match against Slovan Bratislava. The Giallorossi are aiming to secure their first victory of the season after a 1-1 draw with Fenerbahce and a 4-3 loss to Real Madrid. Balerdi, who moved from Olympique Marseille on loan with a potential €16m buy option, is comfortable playing in the central role, supported by Daniele Ghilardi and Mario Hermoso.
The team's defensive lineup has been significantly altered for this game. Balerdi praised coach Gian Piero Gasperini, stating that the coach's passion and training methods have helped instill confidence on the field.
