Are the Knicks ready for what's next? New York's repeat bid begins with nowhere to hide in wide-open NBA
After the parades and the banners and the rings, there's one more reward awaiting the champs: the proverbial bullseye on their back.
The New York Knicks began their repeat bid in the NBA with no hiding places, as they basked in the afterglow of their championship-winning playoff run. Following their 16-3 postseason streak, the franchise celebrated with ticker-tape parades, appearances on popular TV shows, and even rename streets. However, despite the euphoria, the true test for the team lies ahead as they face a challenging season in the wide-open NBA.
The reigning champions will need to up their game and demonstrate even greater discipline and execution if they hope to repeat their success.
