2027: APC campaign rejigs teams, demands strategic plans

The All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council has reorganized its structure and appointed new leaders in anticipation of the 2027 presidential election. The campaign council's Director-General, Abdulaziz Yari, directed the various departments to develop work plans outlining their plans for executing campaign responsibilities.

Farouk Adamu Aliyu was named Director of the Directorate of Stage Organisation and Management, with Adejare Bello serving as co-director. For the Directorate of Youth Mobilisation, Ayo Olawande is the new Director, while Dr Dayo Israel has been appointed Deputy Director. The Directorate of Women Mobilisation will be led by Dr Mary Aille Idele, with Dr Betta Edu serving as Deputy Director and Imaan Suleman as Secretary.

The changes aim to enhance coordination and operational efficiency for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's re-election bid. The council urged the newly appointed leaders to utilize their experience and skills in fulfilling their duties as election preparations intensify. Yari emphasized the importance of delivering results, given the trust placed in them by President Tinubu.
