Who is Tiger Shroff and what do we know about the shooting of the Bollywood star?

Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff, born in 1990, survived a shooting attack in Mumbai on October 18, 2025. The assailants opened fire on his car in the Juhu district, leaving two people injured. Authorities believe the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, known for targeting Bollywood figures, may be responsible. Shroff, son of Jackie Shroff, is a star in his own right, known for action films like Baaghi and War.

He was returning home after playing football when the attack occurred around 7pm. Three masked men on motorcycles attacked his vehicle, with two gunmen firing before fleeing. Shroff escaped unharmed but his driver was shot in the hand, and another nearby driver sustained injuries. Videos show the attackers in action. Two men, Anil Pandit and Harman Sandhu, claimed responsibility, linking the attack to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Police are investigating the incident, recovering a motorcycle used in the escape, and have detained one person for questioning. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has ordered a thorough investigation.
