These Android Auto tricks keep the whole family entertained on long drives

Long drives can quickly become tedious when trying to keep every family member engaged. However, there are several Android Auto features that can turn a tedious road trip into an entertaining adventure. First, Google Assistant's Gemini Live function allows you to spark conversations by asking it to share interesting facts about your destination, explain landmarks, or generate trivia questions.

This turns a mundane drive into a learning experience for children. Additionally, preparing playlists with a mix of upbeat tunes, family favorites for singing along, and calming music can keep everyone entertained throughout the journey. Using voice commands to request music or create new playlists ensures you stay focused on the road.

Trivia games hosted by Gemini Live can also engage family members with topics like animals, space, geography, or the destination. These games can be customized with easy questions and switched up as needed. For those times when the car needs to be parked, Android Auto supports compatible games from the Google Play Store, such as Candy Crush Soda Saga or Angry Birds 2.

Remember, these games must be played while parked. Lastly, keeping a selection of audiobooks and podcasts handy provides more options for everyone to enjoy on long drives.
