Stan Van Gundy isn't buying the hype surrounding the Timberwolves
Count Stan Van Gundy among the analysts who are really worried about Minnesota's frontcourt.
Former NBA head coach Stan Van Gundy recently expressed skepticism about the Timberwolves' abilities, despite their impressive roster. In an interview on The Zach Lowe Show, Van Gundy stated that while the team could be "fun to watch," their losses to Julius Randle, Naz Reid, and Donte DiVincenzo make them highly dependent on Rudy Gobert.
Van Gundy believes that the Wolves lack a true power forward and may struggle in certain situations. However, he acknowledges that the team's depth at guard and small forward is strong. Despite Van Gundy's concerns, the Timberwolves are still considered one of the better teams in the Western Conference.
