Notre Dame is still one of the favorites to win the 2026 National Championship
If you’re looking for one of the favorites to win the national championship, you can still check out Notre Dame.
Notre Dame remains among the front-runners to secure the 2026 National Championship title following their 28-24 loss to BYU. The defeat dealt a significant blow to the Fighting Irish, potentially impacting their standing in the rankings and chances to claim the championship. However, the odds released on Sunday suggested Notre Dame was still favored to win the national title, with some oddsmakers even giving them the best odds in the country.
FanDuel Sportsbook still has the Irish with higher odds than Ohio State, and as of publication, Georgia is also ahead of the Irish. While betting odds don't always accurately predict future success, the fact that Notre Dame is still considered a contender, despite the recent loss, indicates that their season is far from over.
