Denver, Colorado, USA - Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes (15) was in the company of seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady on Sunday, as Mahomes led his team to a 22-6 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers at Arrowhead Stadium. Following the win, Mahomes joked that he and Brady seem to be tied every time the Chiefs secure a win, and he issued a playful warning that he has no intention of slowing down.
Mahomes reached 100 career victories in his 131st start, which puts him in the same category as Brady as the fastest quarterbacks in NFL history to reach 100 regular-season wins. Mahomes' performance against the Chargers was solid, going 23-of-30 for 272 yards and recording an interception. The Kansas City Chiefs' impressive start, now 5-0, makes them the only undefeated team in the AFC, while the Chargers fell to 0-6.
Mahomes attributed his success to his continued efforts to win more games, saying, "I’m gonna keep winning."
