High school girls volleyball: 2A/1A state tournament brackets announced by UHSAA

The Utah High School Activities Association (UHSAA) has released the brackets for the Class 2A and 1A state tournament of the high school girls volleyball season. The first round matches for both divisions will take place on October 21, while the second round matches will be held on October 23 at UVU.

In the Class 2A tournament, the top seeds are North Summit, South Sevier, Enterprise, Parowan, San Juan, Millard, Rowland Hall, and St. Joseph. They will face the winners of the lower-seeded matchups in the second round. The second round games for Class 2A will begin at 9 a.m. at UVU and 10:30 a.m. at UVU.

For the Class 1A tournament, the first round matches will also be played on October 21. The top seeds are Panguitch, Monticello, Rich, Valley, St. Joseph, Altamont, Tabiona, and Whitehorse. Like in the 2A tournament, the second round matches for Class 1A will be held at UVU on October 23, starting with the 3:30 p.m. games.
