New Kids on the Block singer and actor Donnie Wahlberg narrowly escaped a dangerous incident when his private jet skidded off the runway at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas on Sunday, October 18th. According to PEOPLE, Wahlberg was onboard the aircraft that failed to gain altitude and ran out of runway. In an Instagram video, Wahlberg credited the pilots and God for saving his life.
He stated, "I’m not sure how many fences we avoided, but they didn’t avoid the last one. We avoided those trucks and heavy equipment and the dumpsters behind that. God is good." Wahlberg, along with his team and friends, had just completed a prayer session when he looked out the window and decided to abort the takeoff. He later shared the video with his family and friends, later making it public as he considers many of his fans to be his family.
Wahlberg, who plays Detective Sergeant Danny Reagan in the second season of CBS's Boston Blue, expressed his gratitude to God and the pilots for their efforts to keep everyone safe.
