Car Keys in Apple Wallet coming soon to three popular vehicle brands

Apple Wallet car keys are set to expand to three popular vehicle brands, according to recent announcements by General Motors (GM). Cadillac, Chevrolet, and GMC models will all support the storage of digital car keys in Apple Wallet, bringing a significant growth to the feature. The very limited rollout began in late September and is set to expand throughout October, with more vehicles joining in December.

GM has confirmed that car key support will be launched for the following models before the end of the year, marking one of the most expansive car key expansions in recent times. The company also assures that the rollout will continue to include additional GM vehicles over time. When a vehicle adds car key support, customers will receive a notification in the 'What's New' section of their vehicle's app, keeping them informed about the updates.
