Advisor to Prime Minister and Official Spokesperson for Foreign Ministry meets German Parliament members

Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has announced the creation of a comprehensive database of Ghanaians living abroad to enhance diplomatic and consular assistance. The initiative, announced on X, reflects the government's commitment to safeguarding the welfare and dignity of Ghanaians regardless of their location. In a congratulatory post, Ablakwa introduced four newly commissioned career diplomats to represent Ghana abroad.

These diplomats include Nana Antwiwaa Dodoo in Angola, Louis Kwame Obeng in Qatar, Evelyn Korantemaa Ofosu-Amable in Israel, and Jedidiah Reuben Adogla as Ghana's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office in Geneva, Switzerland. The Minister expressed confidence in their ability to effectively represent Ghana in their respective jurisdictions.

Ambassadors and high commissioners are expected to meet their key performance indicators, with a particular focus on supporting Ghanaians living in their host countries. The newly established database will prioritize citizens requiring diplomatic intervention and consular assistance. The Ministry reaffirms its dedication to the protection and welfare of Ghanaians abroad, ensuring that these priorities remain central to the country's diplomatic engagements.
