This submission is for the Hacktoberfest Open-Source AI Challenge Week 2: Side Hustle. AdMuse is an open-source AI-powered promotional assistant designed for artists, independent creators, and small creative businesses. It generates promotional content such as titles, text, calls to action, and hashtags based on inputs like the product or service, target audience, promotional channel, writing style, language, and marketing objective.
AdMuse offers multiple writing styles, multilingual generation in Brazilian Portuguese, English, and Spanish, and a promotion history feature. Additionally, it includes an artwork watermarking feature that allows users to add contact information or a logo to their artwork images. The idea for AdMuse came from the developer's sister, who runs a small graphics and printing business, who needed a practical way to promote her work and protect her artwork.
AdMuse is built using Java and Spring Boot, with PostgreSQL for persistence and local AI inference through Ollama. The developer focused on preventing the AI from inventing false business information, such as fabricated prices, and kept content generation separate from saving, allowing users to review generated content before storing it.
Early feedback from the project's first user, the developer's sister, confirmed that the main features addressed her needs, including generating advertisements and adding watermarks to artwork.
