Lahore – The Suthra Punjab Agency Lahore (SPAL) ensured meticulous cleanliness arrangements during a two-day food gala held at Jilani Park to commemorate World Food Day. On the orders of SPAL Chief Executive Officer Sheryar Arif Khan, over 60 sanitation workers were on hand to maintain tidiness throughout the festivities on Saturday.
Ten zonal officers from SPAL were placed to oversee cleanliness arrangements in three shifts, while more than 20 wheelie bins were positioned at Jilani Park for efficient waste collection and clearance. SPAL also set up a cleanliness awareness camp at the venue to educate attendees about the significance of preserving cleanliness in public spaces.
The Social Mobilizer Wing of the agency conducted this educational initiative. Speaking on the matter, Sheryar Arif Khan revealed that sanitation teams were present before, during, and after the World Food Day gala to guarantee a clean environment at Jilani Park.
