Southern Miss football vs Arkansas State score, live updates, TV channel
Southern Miss football is hosting Arkansas State on Oct. 15, looking to snap a four-game losing streak. Follow along here for live updates.
Austin Simmons, once Ole Miss football's unquestioned starting quarterback, has transferred to Missouri for the upcoming 2026 season. The shift comes after Simmons sustained an ankle injury during a game against Kentucky in 2025, which led to Trinidad Chambliss taking over as the starter. Chambliss's impressive performance, leading the Rebels to the 2025 College Football Playoff semifinals, prompted Simmons to transfer.
Ole Miss coach Pete Golding expressed understanding of Simmons' situation, acknowledging that only one quarterback can start for the team. Simmons' stats for Missouri include 107 completions out of 165 attempts, 1,434 passing yards, 14 touchdowns, and one interception.
