Head coach Kyle Shanahan has lauded San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jayden Daniels ahead of their Monday night matchup. Shanahan declared Daniels among the elite quarterbacks in the league, highlighting his throwing accuracy, strong arm, poise, and fearlessness in the pocket. His 2024 rookie year was impressive, with 3,568 passing yards, 25 touchdowns, and nine interceptions, earning him Pro Bowl honors and Offensive Rookie of the Year.
Despite being limited to seven games in 2025 due to injuries, Daniels still managed 1,262 yards, eight touchdowns, and three interceptions.
