The European Union is set to provide €20 million in defence assistance to Nigeria, according to the Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (retd.). The funds will be provided under the European Peace Facility, and an EU technical delegation will visit Abuja in November to finalize the delivery details. General Musa expressed appreciation for the EU's ongoing support in Nigeria's security efforts, acknowledging the challenges such as kidnapping along major highways and attacks on isolated communities.
He also highlighted efforts to address these issues and the administration's plans to receive ten attack helicopters, UAVs, and other critical military equipment.
