A message from Macao International Trade & Investment Fair

Macao International Trade & Investment Fair announced that North.cloud, a financial operating system for cloud, AI, and data, has closed $60 million in Series B funding led by PeakSpan Capital and joined by Litquidity Ventures, Companyon Ventures, Alpaca, Uncommon Denominator, Gaingels, and Mana Ventures. The funds will be used to expand autonomous optimization across cloud providers, deepen integrations, accelerate AI spend management, and scale engineering, product, and go-to-market teams.

North's platform automates FinOps, reducing infrastructure waste, increasing compute power per dollar spent, and automating spend intelligence, allowing companies to focus on building products rather than managing cloud bills. North's success is highlighted by customers such as AssemblyAI, Atlan, Tines, SnapLogic, Emplifi, and Imply, who have saved over $400 million and maintain a 98.8% retention rate.

With the financing, North will expand its platform to address the rapid growth of AI spend, integrating token usage, attribution, budgets, and financial controls with cloud infrastructure, positioning it as a FinOps platform built on automation and AI rather than a tool bolted onto engineering's plate.
