2027: Tinubu 1000 years wiser than opposition - Atiku's ex-ally, Showunmi

Segun Showunmi, a former ally of the African Democratic Congress presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar, has declared President Bola Tinubu to be one thousand years wiser than the opposition. During a press conference in Abuja, Showunmi backed Tinubu's assertion that he will not campaign in all states, stating that he will focus on governance instead.

Showunmi criticized critics and opposition members for berating Tinubu over his comment about being absent from campaign rallies. He argued that the opposition had ridiculed Tinubu when he stated that town hall meetings were different from ballot blue during the 2023 elections, yet they had failed to defeat him. Now, Tinubu's plan to use science and technology for a more efficient campaign is being praised.

Showunmi emphasized that opposition members should focus on building structures for polling units and leaving campaign appearances to Tinubu, who he confidently stated, is a thousand years wiser and will defeat them again.
