Warriors' Steve Kerr makes brutally honest admission about Golden State before season opener
With the regular season closing in, Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr isn't holding back. The Warriors need to get to a place they want to be quick.
As the Golden State Warriors gear up for the start of the regular season, the team is missing two of its key players. Jimmy Butler and Kristaps Porzingis are both sidelined, with Butler recovering from an ACL injury and Porzingis dealing with a sudden health issue. Porzingis is expected to be out indefinitely, while Butler is projected to miss around two months.
Despite these setbacks, head coach Steve Kerr remains optimistic, acknowledging that the team still has time to address these issues before the regular season begins. However, Kerr admits that the Warriors are far from where they need to be, both in terms of roster strength and overall team identity. With Steph Curry, Draymond Green, and Kerr at the helm, the Warriors have strong leadership to build upon and potentially turn things around quickly.
