Tak pernah lihat Tuanku Muhriz semurka ini, kata cicit Siamang Gagap

Kamal Yassin, the son of Siamang Gagap, a prominent figure who fought against British colonial rule during the Bukit Putus War, expressed his surprise at witnessing the visibly furious Yang Dipertuan Besar Negeri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir, rebuking Menteri Besar Ismail Lasim. This was the first time Kamal saw his uncle in such a state, remarking, "I never imagined I would see Tuanku (Muhriz) so angry like this."

The incident occurred at a mosque following Juma'at prayers, with Kamal standing near Tuanku Muhriz. Sinar Harian reported that the confrontation unfolded as Tuanku Muhriz addressed a congregation, accusing Ismail of sending a letter to the Sultan's Privy Council, claiming he was no longer the Yang Dipertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan.

In response, Ismail merely raised his hands in respect. This event comes amid a constitutional crisis in Negeri Sembilan since April, following four individuals claiming to be the undying proclamation of Tuanku Muhriz's dismissal as Yang Dipertuan Besar and the installation of Tunku Nadzaruddin Tuanku Ja’afar as the new state government.

Last month, Ismail acknowledged his ex-wife's statement, which allegedly confirmed the removal of Tuanku Muhriz's throne, before he revoked the appointment of his entire exco.
