Should Raphinha play against Real Betis ahead of a crucial week for Barcelona?
Time to talk the captain’s return
Barcelona manager Hansi Flick announced on Friday that captain Raphinha will be available for selection in the upcoming La Liga match against Real Betis on Saturday. The forward had missed the first two games following the international break due to a minor muscle issue he sustained in Brazil. However, Raphinha is eager to return to the starting lineup as soon as possible.
Flick's cautious approach suggests that he will take a step-by-step approach with Raphinha's minutes this weekend, considering the club's busy schedule in the coming days and weeks. The coach would like to see the player gradually reintegrate into the team to ensure he is fully ready for the challenges ahead.
Raphinha's availability for Saturday's game is a significant boost for Barcelona, as the team prepares for crucial matches, including a Champions League trip to Paris Saint-Germain and El Clásico against Real Madrid next Sunday. Fans and pundits alike will be eager to see Raphinha back in action to regain his rhythm and contribute to the team's performance in these vital fixtures.
