Negeri Sembilan's Police Chief, Alzafny Ahmad, has urged schools and the public to notify the police of any suspicious packages found at schools. Following reports of suspicious packages left or sent to several schools in the state, police have activated bomb disposal units. Chief Alzafny Ahmad stated that the police have received five reports from the Nilai district and four from Tampin.

The packages were reportedly found in school areas for some time before school authorities reported to the police after no one arrived to claim them. Investigations found no explosives or hazardous materials. Further examination revealed the packages contained flour and plastic plates.

Ongoing investigations are being conducted to identify the individual responsible for sending or leaving the packages and determine the true motive behind the incident, according to a statement. Meanwhile, police advise school management and the public not to touch, open, or move any suspicious packages they come across without knowing their ownership or origin.

Any findings should be immediately reported to the police for further safety measures, they added. The public is also requested not to speculate, which could incite public unrest or disrupt the investigation.
