‘Disrespectful to QB position’ – Ryan Fitzpatrick goes in on ‘garbage’ Bo Nix despite Broncos win
Ryan Fitzpatrick did not hold back in his assessment of Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix on Thursday night despite them prevailing against the Seattle Seahawks. As far as quarterback performances go, Thursday Night Football was not one viewers will want to remember in a hurry.
Former NFL quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick criticized Denver Broncos' Bo Nix on Thursday Night Football after both he and Sam Darnold delivered disappointing individual performances. Despite the Broncos securing a victory against the reigning Super Bowl champions, Seattle Seahawks, Fitzpatrick expressed his frustration on Amazon Prime.
Nix failed to throw for a single touchdown and only accumulated 107 yards throughout the game. The Broncos' defense struggled in the second half, allowing Seattle to silence Nix and the Broncos' offense. Fitzpatrick deemed Nix's performance "garbage" and disrespectful to the quarterback position, questioning his trust from the head coach. The Broncos now have a mini-Bye Week before facing the struggling Arizona Cardinals next weekend.
