Ayuso cierra la estación de metro Sol para realizar tareas de limpieza: “Hay condiciones de insalubridad dentro”

Madrid's President Isabel Díaz Ayuso announced the closure of Metro Sol station on Friday due to unsanitary conditions caused by the occupation of the plaza during a housing crisis protest. This was confirmed during an interview on EsRadio. Meanwhile, Verónica Barbero, general coordinator of Movimiento Sumar, criticized the lack of dialogue with Podemos following the organization's refusal to engage in discussions.

Barbero stated that it is challenging to make progress without meetings, adding that Podemos has not held any talks with the group led by Ione Belarra. The deadline for forming coalitions for the November 29 elections is also this Friday. Gabriel Rufián, the candidate for ERC, criticized his party and the Comuns for failing to reach an electoral agreement, admitting that both he and Ada Colau had made every effort to bring their respective party leaders to the negotiating table but were unable to overcome past conflicts. He acknowledged that they "have failed" in this regard.
