‘Absolutely’ – Stephen A. Smith names the most overhyped team in the NFL right now

Stephen A. Smith, a prominent NFL analyst, has declared that the Los Angeles Rams are the most overhyped team in the league currently. The Rams, who are sitting at a 2-3 record heading into their Week 6 matchup against an opponent, were the subject of Smith's inquiry during a recent interview with NFL Hall of Famer Michael Irvin.

Irvin was asked to name the most overhyped team in the NFL, but Smith preemptively offered the answer himself: "I don't know why it's hard for you. Absolutely the Rams right now."

Irvin, acknowledging Smith's statement, suggested that the Rams' potential overhype stemmed from their impressive record. He pointed out that if the Dallas Cowboys were the Rams, Smith would be happy with their performance. Additionally, Irvin noted that he believed the Rams were just one play away from a perfect season, which led him to question whether they were truly overhyped or simply on the verge of a breakthrough.

Despite the Rams' strong form, it appears unlikely that they will be able to catch up to the San Francisco 49ers this season. However, if the Rams continue their winning ways, they might overtime the Seattle Seahawks, who currently sit at 3-3 after suffering a loss to the Denver Broncos in Week 6.
