The Golden State Warriors are facing a challenging situation heading into the 2026-27 season due to the absence of key players like Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler, and Kristaps Porzingis. With the need for offensive firepower, young players like Brandin Podziemski and Yaxel Lendeborg are expected to step up and make a significant impact.
Podziemski, who has shown promise in his career so far, has the potential to take a bigger role on the team's offense, with the Warriors rewarding him with a multi-year contract. Meanwhile, rookie Yaxel Lendeborg, selected 11th overall in the draft, has already demonstrated impressive scoring ability and has the potential to become a two-way scoring wing for the Warriors.
Charles Bassey, a versatile player who has bounced around the league since the 2021-22 season, could also find a significant role with the Warriors due to the team's need for athleticism and energy in the frontcourt, particularly with Kristaps Porzingis out.
