Ukrainian forces destroy Russian drone operator training center in Kherson Oblast – intelligence

On October 15, Ukrainian military intelligence reported that Russian forces' 18th Combined Arms Army training center for drone operators had been destroyed in Kherson Oblast, according to a press release. Footage of the operation was shared by Ukraine's military intelligence agency on the same day.

The assault on the drone training facility took place on the night of October 11, with special forces from Ukraine's Defense Intelligence Directorate's Shamanbat unit and the Ukrainian Navy Marine Corps Command's 426th Separate Unmanned Systems Regiment carrying out the attack. They targeted a base located in the village of Khorly.

In addition to the drone training center, Ukrainian military intelligence special forces also destroyed a facility housing Russian occupation officers. This included Russian instructors who were responsible for training sabotage groups affiliated with Russia's 18th Army.

Earlier on October 6, the OSINT channel Dnipro Osint Harbuz reported that the Chonhar road bridge, which connects the Russian-occupied Crimea with the occupied portion of Kherson Oblast, had been destroyed. This bridge is considered a critical land crossing between Kherson Oblast and Crimea, and it serves as an important logistics route. Ukrainian forces have repeatedly targeted this route due to its strategic importance.
